January 7, 2025 - Final Assignment!

I think the first video is a very useful YouTube video for foreign tourists and Japanese people traveling. I think the traditional Japanese shrines and long staircases are quaint and beautiful, but I don't like stairs because they are tiring. Furthermore, soba and tempura are traditional foods for Japanese people and unique to Japan even for foreigners, so I think it would be a very good experience to climb the long staircase, pray at the shrine, and eat delicious soba.

I don't watch anime that much, but my family often watches Dragon Ball, so I know what it's about. However, when I saw the second video, I honestly thought that even though it was advertised as a Dragon Ball cafe, it didn't have any of the Dragon Ball worldview. Since it's a cafe that symbolizes the anime, I thought they should have more faithfully recreated the world of Dragon Ball.

As you can see in the third video, there are a lot of flavorful foods made in Japan. I love pizza, but whether or not you really eat them for the taste of pizza is another matter. One snack I often eat is pizza potato. I don't know if it tastes like pizza, but it's so delicious that I like it and eat it often.

December 17, 2024 - New Year Resolutions

My goal for 2025 is to live healthily. Looking back on the year of 2024, I lived a very irregular and opposite lifestyle to healthy. Because I had night shifts, it was difficult for me to go to bed early, so I would wake up at 9am to go to university, and when I got home, I would work part-time every day. I would often go to university with only 2 hours of sleep and then continue working part-time. Because I didn't sleep much, I often overslept and couldn't attend lectures. In 2025, I will still have night shifts as usual, but when I get home after the night shift, I hope to take a bath and go to bed right away instead of lazily watching YouTube, so that I can get a proper amount of sleep and live a healthy life!

I love the Christmas atmosphere out of all the events of the year, so I'm happy that winter has finally come. On New Year's Eve, I'd like to spend the New Year with my family eating soba noodles and seafood, and in the New Year, I'd like to eat osechi with my family and cousins and get lots of otoshidama money. I'm so happy that there are so many things to look forward to from now on.

December 3, 2024 - What is News to You?

The news that made me personally happy was that the anime "Oshi no Ko" is being made into a live-action movie. I never watched anime and I was never really into it, but my sister recommended "Oshi no Ko" to me, and when I tried it out, I couldn't help but watch it, even sacrificing sleep, and ended up finishing the two seasons of the anime in just two days. I was still basking in the afterglow of the anime when I heard the news that it was being made into a live-action movie, and I was very surprised and happy. The movie will be released on December 20th, so I'm going to go see it on opening day!

Novemeber 26, 2024 - Numbers and Dates in Japanese

My favorite day is August 31st. This day is called Vegetable Day, and Vegetable Day is August 31st. This is a play on words, "ya (8) sa (3) i (1)" (vegetables are 8, 3, 1), and was established in 1983 by nine organizations, including the Food Distribution Improvement Association and the National Federation of Fruit and Vegetable Commercial Cooperatives, with the aim of raising awareness of the nutrients and health benefits of vegetables. I don't like vegetables very much, but on this day I feel like eating them properly. I live alone and can only cook simple dishes, but on August 31st this year I made stuffed peppers. Let's all eat lots of vegetables on August 31st.

November 5, 2024 - The Changing Colors of Fall!

My favorite spot in Japan is kamikochi in Nagano Prefecture. The biggest attraction of Kamikochi is that you can hike and climb mountains in the majestic nature, with close views of mountains over 3,000 meters above sea level. In addition to the impressive mountains, you can enjoy a rich variety of beautiful natural scenery such as ponds and rivers. Its beauty is highly praised not only in Japan but also around the world. However, due to the high altitude of Kamikochi, the temperature varies greatly depending on time and location. Even in summer, it can be cold depending on the weather, so going in November is not a good idea for someone like me who is sensitive to cold weather. However, once you see it, it is a spectacular view that you will never forget, so there is no harm in going! !

Mid Term Long Form Assignment.

I liked games until I started living alone. The games I liked were the Momotaro Dentetsu series. It's called "Momo-Tetsu" for short. Momo-Tetsu is a timeless classic game released for the Family Computer in 1988. The player becomes the president of a railroad company and travels around real stations all over Japan in a sugoroku style, buying properties at each station and competing for the largest total assets. Momo-Tetsu is a sugoroku game for up to four players.

At the start of the game, the destination is determined by a roulette, so you roll the dice to reach your destination. When you arrive at your destination, you will receive money as a "subsidy," so you can buy "properties" in various places to increase your assets, and the properties are not just food, but also a wide range of facilities such as mining, agriculture, and forestry. There are various reasons why Momo-Tetsu is popular, including the fact that it was the first in the series to introduce online battles, it is a title that looks good on gameplay commentary, information about it spread mainly on YouTube, and it has been a long-running staple game. Furthermore, the demand for games has increased as people spend their time at home during the COVID-19 pandemic! I am one of those people. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I used to play games with my sister almost every day.

However, I don't like games very much now. The reason is that I liked games because my sister invited me to play them, and I started to like them too. Now that I live alone, I don't have the opportunity to play games with my sister, and with my part-time job and university, I don't have the time to play games. However, when I went back to my parents' house, I wanted to play games with my sister again!!!
