 My favorite food is malasadas.Malasada is a sweet made from fermented dough mixed with flour and yeast, then deep-fried in oil, and is typically eaten sprinkled with powdered suger or cinnamon. It is a sweet that has many similarities with donuts, such as fried dough and sweet seasoning. Because malasadas are fried in oil, they are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, giving them a pleasant, light texture.  Malasadas become widely known in Hawaii when Leonard's Bakery started selling them, but malasadas are not actually a sweet that originated in Hawaii. Malasada is a sweet that originated in Portugal.

 

May 21, 2024 - All About Music!

 My favorite song is "Me Too". It was written by American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor. It is the second single from the album "Thank you" and was released in May 2016. The lyrics talk about self-love, and the song also contains Meghan's strong message of "being confident in your inner self and your appearance."                          This song is memorable for the lyrics repeated the chorus "If I was you, I'd wanna be me too. I'd wanna be me too, I'd wanna be me too."                                                  I always listen to this song when I'm feeling down or when I've lost confidence in myself. this song gives me confidence and makes me want to do my best tomorrow.

May 7, 2024 Golden Week

 My Golden Week was a very fun and fulfilling day.

I had classes on April 30th, but since it was my mother's birthday, we had a birthday party for her at a Yakiniku restaurant in the evening. After I gave my mother a set of cosmetics that she had been looking for and finished dinner, I went to her favorite Starbucks and bought her the biggest Frappuccino. 

On May 4th, I went to Iwate Prefecture. We bought seafood from Iwate Prefecture and had a BBQ on the river. At night, we visited haunted spots in Iwate Prefecture and looked at the night view. The stars in Iwate Prefecture were so beautiful that I was mesmerized by them.

This year's Golden Week has become very memorable and important for me.
