I often look at Twitter, and for some reason I find the tweets of users with blue checkmarks to be believable and trust them. But, previously, if you subscribed to a paid subscription, you would have received a blue check mark, but Elon Musk gave it to users with a large number of followers for free. I'm very opposed to people getting a blue checkmark just because they have a lot of followers. I don't know why they are giving it, but I think they should give it to someone with a clear reason.
